What an AMAZING Week in Puerto Rico. I went to High School with Rosa and we were the best of friends. I was so excited she she told me she'd like us to fly down to San Juan Puerto Rico and document their wedding celebration that took place over a few days. From the pre-wedding events to the rainforest excursion on the day after their special day we had a blast. I had an amazing time with their families and tons of friends from his school. Be prepared! This is a long post. There were too many good images! Enjoy!
They're back!!!! This time we traveled to Newark New Jersey for their two day wedding celebration. Tons of smiles, laughter and crying on this beautiful weekend. On to the shots!
It was great finally getting a chance to meet Alessandra and Carlos and shoot their engagement session. Alessandra is one of the sweetest brides-to-be which makes her and Carlos a joy to photograph.
They really wanted a "graffiti" type of shoot so we hung out in Blagden Alley and took some photos. We’re really looking forward to their wedding this summer at Belmont Manor.
Promita and Ashish found us through our connection with Iti and Jeffrey. It’s not everyday that we meet two people who match each other with their style and grace. But what impressed us more was how compatible they were with each other, which made them a joy to photograph.
We met with Promita and Ashish at the National Portrait Gallery and photographed them around the area. We’re looking forward to their wedding and we’ll be back again on our site boasting about how much of an awesome couple they are.
We met Sherlyn through Instagram while she was shopping for a wedding dress. We exchanged information with further hopes of possibly shooting their wedding.
Sherilyn and Jashley expressed to us how much they would be honored if we traveled out to Chicago to photograph their wedding at Germania Place in the Gold Coast. Of course we shared the same feelings and we were elated when they wanted to move forward with hiring us. You may remember them from our late night engagement session in Brooklyn, New York. We just knew were were in for a treat with these two.
Their wedding was filled with so much love. I know each wedding we photograph is special but these one seemed different. All of their guests in attendance at Germania Place exude so much love. We felt the warmth from everyone and that made the day special. From the tears they both shared at the ceremony to their AMAZING entrance/dance set at the reception. We enjoyed it all.
Our best wishes to this lovely couple. You both are the best!
I didn't get the opportunity to talk with Tori and Remi before their wedding day. When we did it immediately felt like we were long lost friends reunited. What an amazing couple! They wedding day was filled with laughter, tears and tons of dancing. Let me stop talking and get on with their story. LOL
I remember when Crystal and Scott called over FaceTime when they were choosing their photographer. They made a big impression, both laid back with great taste in music (Soca being a favorite). So I knew the reception would be lit! I could type for awhile, so I'm going to let the photos tell the story instead.
It's becoming a mantra - every couple I'm lucky enough to share their day with, are entirely wonderful. Where to start! They are an awesome couple; friendly, energetic and they know how to party! The ceremony was particularly moving, you can see Ashley’s emotions hit her as she walks down the aisle to meet Bryson. Their wedding was at The Belvedre in Baltimore Maryland. It's an amazing venue with so much history. I thoroughly enjoyed this one from start to finish.
On with the show!
An incredibly happy and emotional wedding around Washington, DC. Preparations at Embassy Suites Hotel, ceremony at Solid Rock Church, and reception at Ten Oaks Ballroom in Maryland.
There's too much to say about this wedding; Feza and Temi themselves, the character, the love, the style, the people, the atmosphere - I'm just going to let the photographs tell you the story.
I can vividly remember the FaceTime call I had with Sherilyn and Jashley earlier this year. They were incredibly nice people. Sherlyn is always smiling and laughing. Jashley is full of jokes. Awesome! After our conversation I knew I was going to have an amazing with these two. When we decided Brooklyn, New York was going to be the engagement session location it put a smile on my face. Who doesn't love Brooklyn?
I took a train to New York City for this engagement shoot with a bag of camera gear. A six hour round-trip. Worth every second. Look for their wedding later this year.
I can’t really put into words how special this day was for me. How incredible it was to explore with these two beautiful people. To be given 100% trust of everyone and allow me to simply be a part of their journey and to document it without obstruction or direction. Iti and Jeffrey were joined by family members from all over the world to celebrate this special union. Thank you Iti and Jeffrey for everything.
When the US meets Canada magic happens! Not only do Crystal and Scott love DC but they love carnival and dancing. So it was only right ro rent a Car2Go and do a little dancing on the streets of Dc for their engagement session. We started at Union Station and made our way over to H St. Check out some of the photographs from their e-session.
I met YeTunde and Olu through a very good friend of mine. She's actually his sister. So when he asked if I could photograph their wedding I was thrilled! These two show so much love and affection and can out dance anybody. LOL We had an incredible time together and I was honored to have been a part of their wedding day. Here are some of my favorties from their wedding.
You saw Michelle and William earlier this year when we shot their engagement session at their alma mater (Howard University). This was a wedding where just everything aligned. The weather was phenomenal, the light was perfect, and of course, Michelle and William were so much fun to hang out with and photograph! Here are some of my favorite photos from their wedding day. Enjoy!
I absolutley love small weddings. They have a certain intimacy to them. Kara and carl decided to have their wedding celebration at Epic Yoga Studio in DC. After getting ready at the beautiful Tabard Inn we headed to the ceremony with handmade decor by Kara. It was inspiring to see all of the details she created herself. Check out some of the wedding day highlights below.
The cool kids are back! You saw Mary and Nicholas on the blog before for their engagement session at the Renaissance Hotel in Virginia. Here's the wedding! It took place at Newton White Mansion in Mitchelville, Maryland. The ceremony was amazing. The reception was amazing. The food was amazing. Mary and Nicholas were amazing! Wedding day highlights below.
This was one of the first times I've ever done all the planning through the groom. Usually the bride calls so I was caught off guard when Eric contacted me about his wedding with Melissa. LOL. What amazed me was how well he planned everything and how detail oriented he was with the wedding. They got ready at the W Hotel in Washington DC and had the wedding ceremony and reception downtown at the Hamilton. What a day! I mean seriously... What's better than a live band at your reception!? Check out some of the highlights from their wedding day below.
I met Johnna through a couple good friends of mine several years ago. When she called me about photographing her wedding I knew it was gonna be good. She loves to entertain and has a thing for details. I met Cameron for the first time on their engagement session. After their session I knew exactly why they fell in love. He fills a place in Johnna's heart that no one else can. Plus... He is just a cool guy and honestly created the BEST wedding timeline I have ever seen. LOL. The wedding took place at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia, Cameron's hometown. Take a look at some of their highlights.
